I bought a white ukulele. White is boring. So, I took off its strings and got out my markers, and now it is as pretty as it sounds.
I wish pictures really did it justice, but I took a million and none of them do. It's done with sharpie markers, and they rub off, which is unfortunate. I want to seal it with some sort of clear coat, but I'm too afraid it will cause the marker to bleed. I'd rather continually re-touch areas that I've rubbed off by playing it than spray it with something and ruin it completely.
It took a while to complete, so I actually bought another (red) ukulele for practice - and I might just hang this one on the wall, after all.
