Description
2010 - Screen Print, Acrylic
This was for my screen printing class. Took an existing photo collage I'd already created and used the 4-color CMYK printing process to reproduce several more copies. It turned out much darker than the original, but I could definitely correct that in the future now that I know. Of all the screen printing techniques we learned this quarter, this was the quickest and most photo-accurate, provided that you register (line up) your prints very carefully so all your colors match up!
Also, this piece is bigger than my scanner, so I just took a crappy photo of it on my desk. But it's as accurate as I could muster - I wanted to lighten it up, but then I decided I would just try to represent it as it is. Which is way too dark.
